got to know a new friend this week. well, in fact, i had known him for a while but i was only this week that we established some form of proper communications :-)
you see, i met him at the car park and it really intrigue me to see a dog following him all over the place one late evening sometime in may/ june this year. that incident was a memorable one and till today, whenever i think of it, it still brings a smile to my face. anyway, we eventually parted without exchanging contacts. time passed and this week, after a tan at the beach, i went back to my car and found a note. it was gavin and he had written his email on that note. he wasn't sure if i was the same person that he met that evening. i wrote a mail to him and that was how we started talking. so far, we have communicated rather well.
reflecting, i thought it was rather interesting that my recent friends were either made through chance encounters, cyber-chats, or for that matter even through facebooks and swimming pools. but i guess that is to be for many of us gay men :-)
