central locking 3

went back to the repair shop two hours later. car was not repaired. was told by the shop assistant that the spare part was `on it's way'. didn't feel too happy about it. it's been 2hrs and it's still on the way... 2hrs would have given me enough time to drive around sgp two rounds! perhaps they have called some jb car accessory shop for the parts and awaiting for custom clearance? i got more and more angry thinking of all the possibilities. but kept telling myself not to jump to conclusions and to hold my cool.

i went for a walk/ jog.

when i came back half hr later, still no car parts. decided to sit in my car and read the newspaper. i kept wanting to tell the mechanic to reassemble my car and for me to drive off. but decided i should wait a bit longer. half hour later, the boss drove up in his van. came up to me. he apologized and told me that he had ran around 6 other shops but all did not have the spare part. he told me that only the agent has it and i could either get it from the agent for them or to have it retrofitted by the agent. his assistant then re-assembled all the parts.

i thanked him for the assistance and drove off. i was not charged a single cent for it. thinking back, i was glad i held my cool.

so here i am. back to square one. but at least i know now that i should go back to the agent.
