you can never understand how much housewives and domestic helpers go through until you do housework yourself. and i do not mean just simply housework. i mean real housework. the type that apart from the usual cleaning and washing, etc, also include digging into the dirtiest places and washing of every cracks and crevices you can think of - sinks, corners near the stove, doors, fans, areas under the bed, and so on.
i did all these over the past week and most of the weekend and i was amazed at the amount of dirt, grime, dust etc. and i am pretty sure it was only the tip of the iceberg. have been able to find time to do all these housework over the pass few days as mum had moved out and that it was raining most of the time. so, that means i need not cook, and neither could i go for my usual tan. so there, my life over the past weeks... boring, but in a way, therapeutic.
