was a long day at work. but it was not a difficult day per se. it started off rather well with the corporate hr giving us (there was a total of 8 of us) a brief induction about the company and stuff. and then we were brought around the company headquarters. the programme ended about lunch time and we were dispersed. when i got to my office, everyone had gone for lunch but luckily, there was a chap sitting near the door. the moment he saw me, he asked if i was xxx. i said yes and he identified himself as my staff. not too long later, one more chap walked in, and this was also another of my staff. all 3 of us are new. it would be rather interesting in the coming few weeks to sit down and to chart our workscope.
met up with my boss after lunch and spent the whole afternoon in briefings after briefings. by the time it ended about 4-ish, my eyes were like closing already. felt rather drained by the information overload. then again, i was rather glad for these briefings. will be expecting more tomorrow... so... ya, that was my uneventful first day at work.
