was having tea with kars this afternoon and we somehow drifted to the topic of gaymen and excuses... and i thought - the most commonly used phrase i know that a closeted gaymen uses when asked if he's attached would be - "oh... errr, errr, yes, yes! i have a girlfriend. she is now studying in australia..."
and whenever i hear such a phrase, i would roll my eyes and wondered aloud "ya right! now, since when did anyone ask about whether it is a he or a she, and for that matter, what she is doing, and where is she doing what she is doing!"
