it's so nice to get smses from friends who think about you once in a while. and today, i was so so so pleasantly surprised to get smses from quite a few friends. first it was from lp telling me of her new routine since moving to a new place. such a simple sms but thinking about it, the fact that someone was willing to share such mundane stuff in life with you says alot about the comfort levels she has with you right? then it was from tai. he sent me an sms wishing me well. i got the sms in the afternoon in the midst of some discussions. i did not manage to reply him till after work. and it was rather late in the evening. felt so bad about it. but well, yes, it certainly broke my little stresses during work! and later in the day, i got an sms from my cousin telling me he has tendered his resignation and that he will be leaving his job by end of the year. i wished him well. and last but not least, i got an sms from ps. she was lamenting to me about how she has, over the last 2 years, lessened contact with james. and how she feels so distant from him now. and to make things worst... he deleted her from his facebook account. well, i can understand how update she must have felt. well, i asked her to try to sms or call him. friendship, just like any relationships, require both sides to put in efforts. else, it will gradually fade away...
well... back to my topic. yes, i was superbly busy today. but i was glad i had a constant stream of smses from friends who broke my stress and whose smses gave me the little extra boost of energy to push on. to my friends, thank you for making the effort to sms me. and i promise - next time, i will try harder to reply. or at least say a hello if i am too busy to compose a long sms.
