went to queensway shopping center today to get my track shoes, toiletry bag and my swimming ear plugs... and just as i was about to leave, i bumped into jeremy! my long lost little brother! my tee tee!
i had known jeremy in 2001 when he was serving his national service. back then, i was doing a tour in mindef where he was a driver. and so, during a few occasions where we had our runs, jeremy was the assigned driver for the safety vehicle. we chatted and got along very well and we kept in contact after he completed his service. he had all the while addressed me as "sir" when he was in service but once he left service, he started addressing me as "kor" (elder brother). he had always wanted an elder brother and had seen me as one. that was how our relationship started. our frequency of contacts dropped over time given our pre-occupations with our respective lives.
and i was so happy to chanced upon him again today! after calling out to one another and exchanging pleasantries, we both felt the need to talk more and in the end, i walked around a bit with him as he bought his shoes (soccer boots - ya... so man rite?). and we went our separate ways after that. but not after i gave him a tight hug! it's so so nice to see him again after so long!
he's still so adorable and cute! `fall in love' with him all over again! really made my day! ha ha...
