smart doggie

recently, i made a very interesting observation about sapphie. you see, i would bring her to pee three times a day, every day. first thing in the morning before heading to work, immediately after i knock off work and before bedtime.

of late, becos i was on leave frequently, i was able to observe a bit more of her and her habits. one interesting thing i observed was that her piss volume was very little in the evenings. also, i noticed she only take seeps of drinks in the day and instead choosing to drink lots of water only after the evening pee and through the night. this was very interesting cos it was the first indication of my dog adjusting her water intake to my presence at home and the frequency of bringing her downstairs to pee!

also, (this is not new), whenever she enters the house (after going out for watever reasons), she'd automatically walk into the kitchen and wait for me to clean her paws and legs. this is one of those habits that i have made her do so that her paws and legs do not end up dirtying the house too badly :-)
