singapore flyer

finally did wat i had wanted to do for a long time... i brought mum up the singapore flyer! and the maid came along too, and becos she had to push my mum's wheelchair, she boarded the flyer for free! it was rather slow and uneventful actually. but since i am a sucker for satellite imagery, air photographs, map-reading and everything associated with bird's eye view of stuffs... i thoroughly enjoyed it. and of cos, so did mum and the maid.

nothing beats starting my break with my mum and be a tourist in my own country! so today, it was the singapore flyer followed by a good hearty meal... char kuay teow, satay, oh-tah... simple fare and simple programme. but for my mum who has always been cooped up in the house and who would always refuse to leave the house becos of her knee pain, i would say this trip was really a good break for her! and of cos, not to mention, the maid - this being her first outing to a tourist place since coming to singapore 2 months back!
