2nd day

was an interesting second day. was asked to attend a meeting at hq at the end of the day. not too sure of the things discussed as i was still feeling my way around. but from the look of how the meeting was run and the discussions that followed, it seemed like the meeting was dominated by one person - the big boss. but the way he was pushing it seemed to suggest that not everyone sees things in the same way and it seemed like what he saids was the law. and no one would reflect and discuss further once he said something. so, things seemed to move 3 steps forward, 2 steps back... i.e, very slow... hmmm... and looking at how things are, it seemed pretty clear that they are still not very clear about my job scope. so... yup, i think i will be able to have some flexibility to look at things from a system-perspective and influence my big boss during decision making processes... that was my initial feel. will have to continue to observe...

been a slow day again as i am still feeling my way around. but it was certainly quite a good and interesting end of the day.
