brought sapphie to arc this evening. very impressed with the service and the friendliness of the staff. also, was rather glad the vet was very thorough with his questions and patience with all the answers and advices.
it was an interesting visit cos when i was there, a lady who had brought her cat there spoke with me while she was waiting for her medication. and she told me her cat had kidney problems. i shared with her about sapphie's rashes. i added that at times i felt rather helpless about it. the last thing i expected was that after saying i felt rather helpless, she broke down and cried as she herself felt helpless when it came to her cat's health.
also, what i thought was interesting was the fact that there were so so so so many gays and lesbians when i was there! it felt so good to feel so at home! heh heh... at one stage, there were like 5 gays (including me) and 2 lesbians! well, ok... not in a homo-erotic manner. rather, the whole atmosphere was one that was very unthreatening, friendly and open. and in a large way, it's like everyone was in a "i-know-you-are-and-you-know-i-am" kinda behaviour. rather interesting. but, ok, ok... the most important thing was the fact that i got a very very very good and satisfactory service from the clinic. the visit cost me more than 500 bucks! sighs! but it's money well spend if sapphie gets better after this!

I'm glad you had a good experience at ARC. They are very professional and the environment is very condusive for pets...almost like a spa for animals! But the more importance thing is even though they charge high fees, they eliver results and in my case, saved my dog's life. :)
thanks a whole lot for the recommendation. :-)
