made a deliberate decision to initiate, organise and meet up with friends these couple of weeks. not very me to initiate but decided that it will be a good thing to do to occupy my time and to connect/ re-connect with friends. it was good. good to catch up. good to re-connect.
went for a japanese dinner with larry last week. expensive dinner but good food and good company. yesterday, met up with some of my friends who used to work in my same set-up but had left after being called up and questioned about their sexuality. again, i was glad to see them doing very well and now very happy outside. often, i think the organisation oversell itself too much and try to convince people that they will not survive if they leave. heck with it. later will be meeting up with thomas and francis for dinner. our first dinner together.
