brought mum to the hospital for her check-up two days ago. in front of me sat two strangers - a lady in her late-50s and a guy who was probably in his mid-40s. the guy has just finished the consultation and was waiting for the nurse to pass some documents to him. the lady then started a conversation with the guy and they spoke loudly...
it was an interesting exchange cos i could see how the guy initially tried to sense where the conversation was heading... and in no time, also joined in as the lady complained about the cost of medical care in singapore. here's a quick reflection of their conversation:
some people can be a pain. they go to the hospital for a series of tests and when tests turn out negative, they get upset and say its money wasted... it's difficult to understand the logic...
also, some people can be equally painful especially when the tests turn out positive, they get upset and accuse the doctor of not being competent and detecting the cause/ treating them early... it's also difficult to understand the logic in such situations.
then again, the logic might be very simple - it is easier to blame others than to accept that the issue start with "self"...
