walking zombies

i enjoyed my walk to work this morning. the whole experience, though different from last year, was just as rich visually.

and interestingly, i do notice that the people that come out of the train station look somewhat different. it was not just that fact that there are new faces (some quite young and cute too! ha), but rather, i do have the feel like as though i was walking alone amongst a lot of zombies.

really! and i say this becos one can really feel so very alone and isolated amidst the morning crowd of  people cos they were all rushing madly out of the train station and to make it even more interesting, almost every other person were so lost in their own worlds and did not seemed to be aware of the surroundings. they were all so absorbed in their individual world of smartphones, either watching some videos or listening to so loud music.

terrible right? and i can bet everyone to the last dollar that no one noticed the blue sky, the greenery, the flowers on the incandescence bending down, drenched and dripping with the morning dew drops, and the little birds busy hunting and pecking the grass patches, picking their breakfasts... no one was living in the present! very sad indeed...

but well, as i said, i enjoyed my walk.

looking forward to doing it again tomorrow!
