lorazepam

decided to take lorazepam to aid my sleep tonight.

gave the same to my mum earlier. hopefully, she will be able to sleep well too. last night, she stayed awake through the night and interrupted my sleep with her cough. i had to wake up to administer the cough mixture for her and gave her a sleeping pill. but it didn't work, so she claimed. today, she was totally hostile towards the maid and i came home from work to a very agitated mum that threatened to slap the maid. had to tread a very thin line between calming her and avoiding further tensions with the maid.

anyway, i hope to be able to sleep properly tonight, and not wake up at 2am.
