i received a call from a job portal today.
they had gone through my resume in my profile and thought i fit the requirements of one of their client. and so, they called to ask if i am keen to pursue the role further. of cos, my first instinct when i heard it was for a government set-up (ok, previously a government set-up, but had since privatised) was to declined it. what made it even less attractive to me was the fact that it would be an individual contributor role...
but of cos, as in all opportunities, never turn it down. it always help to use the opportunity to brush up the interview process and at the same time, network. and so with this thought, i told the lady that called me up that i would touch up my resume to what i think suits the set-up and send it to her. and for her, she was very keen to want to push for an interview for me...
well, so far, the experience has been totally different from my previous job search. this time round, i have not really done much but have instead gotten calls. quite a change ya?
