yup, i don't disagree, but having gone through 2 periods of deliberate unemployment (and giving up my plans prematurely 6 months into unemployment), i cannot imagine not keeping my mind occupied and not having a sense of rootedness.
cool to me (at this stage of my life) is to have some me time and to do what i like, even if it is just nua-ing (literally, it means decay-ing) in bed.
