watched the movie "pompeii" with bee over the weekend.
frankly, i must say it was the word "pompeii" itself and its reputation of wiping out a whole community (or city) during the ancient times, and not the story that made us watch the show. sure enough, the star of the evening was the volcano (and if i may add, the princesses' horse, haha).
the story itself was rather straight forward and thus very suitable for a brainless entertaining evening. broadly, it revolved around a slave and the princess of pompeii, how they met, fell in love and the tribulations they went through before they finally got together, just to be killed by the exploding volcano. sad right? but i must say, i enjoyed the computer effects. thought it was really well done other than occasions where the proportions were off (e.g. the people at the far end of the stadium were disproportionately larger in size). heh…
i had an entertaining evening nonetheless.

ps: if i want to be critical, i can start off by being cynical about how the cameraman and the camera used to shoot the show was really solid as they survived the volcano and its hot molten lava… then again, it was just a show. so let's just enjoy it as that… haha...
the princess' horse? you mean she was riding HIM?????
