bee had wanted to watch mr peabody and sherman and i had done an internet booking for it. but in the end, we watched the lego movie instead. after all the positive reviews, i felt it would be too wasteful not to watch it. and we managed to get the movie changed at the last minute.
the movie did not disappoint. well, it started off a little slow, and i felt it was a little disjointed, but the pace picked up as the show progressed. i must say i was not surprised by the ending. i had seen it coming. and i thought the show brought out all the lessons about perseverance, believing in oneself, daring to try, etc etc etc. would be all too cliche for me to list them down, but well… despite all the life's lessons that had been in-built into the show, i was glad it did not come across as preachy.
it was a good show and we enjoyed ourselves.
