i was having my breakfast yesterday morning at the canteen. there were 2 men seated near me and they were talking loudly. this was how part of the conversation went. one guy said: i am one who cannot be humble. how to be humble? no matter how i try, i can't. it comes out so unnatural.
hmmm... what a weird thing to say! difficult to be humble?
from one angle, i thought, be authentic, be real. don't do something that you are not. but then again, from another angle, i cannot understand how a person cannot be humble. easiest way is to keep your mouth shut. no?
well, my mind easily gets into this reflective mode over such mundane things. decided to just eat my breakfast and ignore the conversation.
