i survived this week!
this was probably one of my toughest week in recent years. back-to-back training and meetings and had not time to do proper development work. for that matter, i only started developing my materials for the second half of my program at 1am the night before the conference. glad things turned out smoothly despite all the lack of focus on the part of the organisers!
i am so so so bloody relieved!
:-)
Hi Jeffrey,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a difficult week! From all the posts, a week to forget as quickly as possible, but we should always pause to celebrate our successes.
I wonder if the people involved in doing the conference ever had project management training or experience? It is natural to assume project management as a core competancy if you have military or other complex corporation experience (especially if it is engineering or logistics related).
You might have just identified a serious skill developement need.
Best regards, Edwin
Hi Edwin,
ReplyDeleteI think I have identified a serious case of leadership failure!
:-)
Jeffrey
Hi Jeffrey,
ReplyDelete;-) There is always that.
A strong team has many able to step forward to leadership.
Fortunately, you were willing.
