panicky maid

last evening while visiting mum… in the quietness of the ward, a maid voice rang through. she exclaimed over the phone: 

"sir! ah ma missing! ah ma run away!"

that very moment, every one around the ward turned and look at her. and for me personally, i didn't know whether to believe or not; or to laugh or not…

ps: of cos it was not the case, from the calm responses by the ward nurses and the maid that left the ward and did not return, i could only conclude that it was most likely a case of the maid going to the wrong ward or that the ah ma had probably been discharged earlier.
