i finally signed the offer today. and after signing, both my chief and my head went through with me quite a bit of stuff. and by the time i ended, it was about noon. it was a good session. quite unnerving and a little anxious about starting work given the many many things to be done. but well, bring it on!
with this, it marked the final closure to my job search. well, i am supposed to be happy. in a way, i can say i was... cos it laid my mind to rest for a good while. but in another way, i am conscious of the need to manage mum's anxieties due to the impending change in routines...
i start work 1 apr.

Congratulations on the new position! Always great to have things formally agreed.
I hope things will settle down for your mother once the new routines are established (change tends to create crisis for the aged). Stay strong to make things work for you, as well as her.
