yes, this is masaki koh, the famous and (in my opinion) overly exposed japanese gay porn actor. yeah, he is quite a good-looking chap, and of cos, very very well-endowed for a japanese/ asian. for more of him, you can check out the link i got the photo from below. but no, this is not going to be a cheeky post. on the contrary, it will be rather serious. have used this photo cos it has what i was looking for - teeth and tongue. you know, it's actually not too easy to find a picture of a cute face with tongue and teeth in the internet. haha... anyway, the following proverb that mum used to tell me when i was much younger crossed my mind earlier and thought i should capture it here...
"gigi dengan lidah ada kala-nya bergigit juga..."
it can be explained as "even the teeth will bite the tongue sometimes". this proverb can be used to depict the fact that even the best of friends (or family members), like the teeth and the tongue who are so close to one another, may end up biting (or fighting) each other once a while. and i remembered using it in my unit to manage conflicts between my trainers (where many of them are malay). and you can imagine the impact it has on on them to be able to see the logic and the need for peaceful coexistence. such is the beauty of proverbs. and for me, to be able to use a malay proverb to manage conflict allowed me to create a much deeper impact and to allow me to bond better with my trainers, more so than any of my predecessors had ever achieved.
