earlier this evening, a praying mantis came to my house. i noticed it as i was about to close my glass door before retiring to bed. and it was rather huge! i told mum about it and she got a little excited. don't kill it, don't kill it she said (not that i will, cos i don't kill at all! lol). it is good luck! and it is here to give you good tidings! mum offered an explanation. the fact that it had appeared at your house now meant good things are going to happen soon. and i am sure you will be securing a job soon!
well, i was rather amused by her explanation, but what else can i say right? of cos i try to cajole the praying mantis to move away so that i could at least close my door. it finally crawled away and stationed itself at my louvre and has been there since. let's hope it flies off by tomorrow, or else it would be terrible if sapphie finds it and tries to sniff it. i cannot imagine how rude a shock she will get if she gets bitten by the praying mantis.
