the zoo

it was a long and tiring day. managed to get mum to go to the rehab after some slight coaxing this morning and met up with bee for breakfast before he headed to work. but what was interesting was that in late morning, my brother suggested i bring his wife and kids to the zoo cos it is school holiday. and i thought it would be a good break for mum and picked her up from the rehab center before picking my bro's family. we arrived at the zoo after lunch, baby in pram, toddler in arm, and elderly on wheelchair and all complete with bags and bags of baby stuff. heh heh... 

and the zoo staff all thought i had brought my wife and kids for an outing. thank goodness my sis-in-law didn't quite understand english. else, it would be so awkward. and yup, it was hard work pushing the wheelchair, helping to hold my niece and at times looking after my baby nephew... but it was rather fun. and of cos, we saw the animals... big cats, pandas, rhinoceros, etc etc etc... and hmmm, when at the zoo, i wondered again who was looking at who. was it us humans looking at the animals or was it the other way round? hahah...

whatever the case, it was a good but tiring day out.
