what does a person say on his/ her death bed?
well, from my experience dealing with dying people, they would always remember and relate things that had hurt them before, things that worries them, things that irked them... that, to me, reflects the experiences they had in life that impacted them to the point that it stayed in their memory. these are very selective and reflect their perspective of things, regardless of whether they are real or percieved.

Isn't it sad that we carry our negativity all the way into the coffin?
It's already a burden to carry such past unhappiness for a whole lifetime.
death is about letting go. Dying peacefully depends on the last thought of the departing.
