If you trust the other person, whether he hides the truth from you should not have an effect on you. Cos you trust that whatever he does, it's with your interest (not to let you worry, etc)
Trust when used as a yardstick on yourself is positive but as a measurement of another, it'll bring unhappiness sooner or later.
