following my second interview, i have spoken to quite a few people about the job. amongst these were 3 people in the company, as well as several close friends of mine. also, to get an objective input, i spoke to the people from the consultant management. all, yes, every single one of them shared that it is a good choice... it is interesting how validations by friends and family members are so important although i more or less know there is an excellent fit.
then again, i have my reservations. this is a security-related job. this company is positioning itself to win more contracts with my previous company. will my sexuality be divulged by my previous employer? i am worried cos some of my friends (who had left service and are now working in government-related companies) had been called up by their bosses and questioned following the release of their personal info pertaining to their sexuality by my previous company. i certainly do not want this to become an issue again.
