so embarrassing 2

i posted my blog about the girl with her fly opened in the bus in my facebook and it got a flurry of comments from people - both straight and ajs. interestingly, all the ajs either focused on the fashion mistake or teased me about it. it took a lot of effort on my part to hint to them in my answers not to tease too far to the extent of outing me to my ex-colleagues. and i was glad they got the hint almost immediately although i was dead sure that any gay men reading the discourse in the comments would probably roll their eyes big time. ha ha! as for comments by straight guys, although most were rather jovial in the tone, they tend to be rather dry and some even asked what were the lessons learnt on my part. heh heh... but it was good. i got many good sharing and email advices from friends (including female friends) and their mothers. and although the number of guys who shared outnumbered the ladies, i would want to give my lady friends who have emailed me, their mothers and of cos, my own mother, a higher credibility in their answers... and almost consistently, their advice was - don't do anything. cos if you do, you risk the possibility of dying very chum (badly) and at the same time the girl get very embarrassed. on the other hand, in not doing anything, first, you don't get killed. secondly, the girl will probably find out about it later and zip it up herself (eg, when she goes to the toilet to powder her nose etc). the most would be that she would feel embarrassed about it by herself, pretend nobody knows about it and life goes on as usual and everyone lives happily ever after. put simply, to her, ignorance is bliss. :-)
