haircut!

i decided to do something different today. i went to the hairdresser!

you see, i told myself that since i have made the commitment to find a job this year, i should start by giving myself a little focus and groom myself. afterall, it would not do me any good to go for interviews looking like a shaggy dog (if the one that was supposed to get back to me reject me).

i walked into the hairdresser, and wow! i realized what i have missed all these months! the attention, the time, the handling of the hair, and of cos, the shampooing and the head massage! for that matter, even the sound of the snip snip sound so different from the $10 10-minute cut that i had been going to for the last 2 years... of cos, with the attention come the price! then again, it was money well spent!
