being closeted vs coming out

i read this somewhere before...

when i come out, my parents go into the closet...

do you agree? it is an interesting sentence. but i reflected on it and from my angle, i thought, hmmm... how very true. and if you know the challenges of being in the closet, do you think it is a fair thing to put your parents into the closet? or perhaps, come out halfway, to people who are accepting, and not to people who are not accepting of homosexuality? well, i supposed there are many answers, and all are debatable. and i also guess most of us chose the in-between answer. whatever it is, there are no right and not wrong. it really depends on a person's point of view, whether he/ she wants to take on a self-centric point of view, the circumstances that he/ she is in, his/ her upbringing, his/ her extended family, their perspective of homosexuality and so on.

so... yup, i do not think there is a standard answer.

what works for you might not work for me.

and vice versa.
