the legend of hercules

bee and i went for hercules the legend earlier on. and i felt so terribly shallow as i watched the show. yes, i admit it. i was looking at the chiseled bodies of the men and hoping that during the fights, the loin cloths of one or two of the actors drop off, or whether the male lead had any hard on as he made out with the girl…

then again, apart from that, there was really nothing much i could say about the show. well… there were lots of stone-faced actors, bad acting, lousy computer effects, weak story line… you name it, you have it. and certainly, it was nothing really new. after all, all the recent greek mythology productions have been almost equally lousy. and oh, before i forgot, if i were to believe what was depicted in the show, somehow, once an ancient greek person becomes king, he would have thunderous husky voice and chiseled bodies.

  2. Yup! Me too! Have loved Greek mythology since I was first exposed to it in sec 1 when it was part of my literature lessons...

Maybe that's why I have such high expectations of shows based on Greek mythology.
