My apologies for staying away for so long. It's rather rude of me. A lot of things happened on my side. I'm glad you finally got someone to help care for your mother and relieve you a little.
My elder son is due for NS this August. I'm rather worried for him. He has declared his homosexuality. Physically and emotionally he may not be ready for it. He is still with his boyfriend. They had their ups and downs but they manage to stay together.
My younger son is Sec 3 this year. He sprained his ankle quite severely end of last year and is still recovering.
Hopefully 2014 would be a good year for all of us in health, happiness and hope for the future.
Hey ladybird! so nice to hear from you. I am sure your son is in good hands. declaring his sexuality should help them better manage and protect him. he is blessed to have a supportive mother. and from this perspective, he is already one up against all his other peers! i am sure he will be ok. what is necessary is for him to see himself as no different or inferior to his peers. his sense of confidence would help steer him through any issues in life, not just ns, for that matter.
ouch, the sprained ankle must have been painful. thankfully, being young, the recovery process should be relatively fast and there should be no major problem in the longer term.
you must be having lots of issues with growing up pangs of your sons? take it in stride and see the positive side of things. difficult it may be at times, but if you see it as opportunities to learn, i am sure you will be able to face the challenges easier and come out stronger.
Sorry your mum is having so many issues during this time. Glad you decided to share with the old family friend: family issues kept secret can create a prison. Glad you created a window.
