i saw someone holding a pack of hot teh-o (local lingo for tea without milk) and he was blowing bubbles into the hot tea-o through the straw… ewwww! but i have to admit, i have done it before too. it cools the tea faster! then again, some things we do are meant to be done in the privacy of our own space…

you know, i don really understand tat, since young, wad's so dirty abt blowing bubbles into drinks? technically its air, with jz a small portion of ur own saliva. Isnt burping even more disgusting with tat context?

ReplyDeletethen again, there is this thing called social norms that perhaps frames what could be done or what could not be done in public without making people feel uncomfortable.
off the cuff, i can think of the following examples that is not so nice or gracious when done in public - picking one's nose, farting, talking loudly, picking one's teeth, etc…
