how time flies. it seemed like not too long ago that i helped out with selling mooncakes at parkway parade. and now it is mooncake festival again. and of cos bee has been busy with all the sales again. this year, they have a total of 3 stalls and to get things done, he had employed some part timers to help out.
thinking back, last year, there was a rich tai tai who patronized the stall and she spend quite bit on mooncakes. she continued keeping in contact with bee and was observed to splurge quite a bit on the high life, parties, etc. for some reasons or other, this year, she had been working as a part-timer for several jobs and she also asked bee to give her a job. and apparently she had been down and out for quite a couple of months. i am even more convinced things go in circles. and this is a clearest example of riches to rags that i have experienced personally.
