rumours

it's certainly not easy trying to keep things mum. recently, my boss told me i'd be promoted to take over a key position. of cos, i was initially rather shocked by this development, but i took it in stride and did not tell anyone. but soon enough, rumours started spreading. and people started talking. and becos this coming promotion is part of a long chain of moves by a lot of people in management, people started speculating where i would be heading. not very nice. and i really do not know how long this is gonna last.

i hope things get formally announced soon to put an end to all these rumours and speculations.
