hallucinations

mum has started hallucinating again. i think she is still ill and perhaps her internal infections has not fully subside. either that or her regular medications need to be adjusted. of late, she has started to see black creepy crawlies all over her hands, and in recent nights, she said an ang moh lady had been coming to her nightly. i asked whether the lady spoke to her. and she replied no. instead, the lady and stood by her side, and gestured for her to keep quiet. i asked if she was afraid. and she said no. in addition, my brother told me she also claimed that my paternal grandparents had visited her a couple of weeks back.

hmmm... think my brother is superstitious and very worried. after all, from what he had experienced before, this same thing happened to my dad before he passed on. similarly, this was the same story for my grands (both paternal and maternal) before they passed on. although logic tells me that things are like that becos of old age, illness and medication, i do admit that i am a little worried. nonetheless, i kept reminding myself that mum is old. and if her time is up, there is nothing we can do. rather, we should make sure she gets the best attention and medical care.
