i bought some munchies (dates to be specific) for the muslim staff of my academy last week and didn't think about it further. and this morning, i was asked to see my big boss. he wanted to chat with me about the news he shared two days back (the one that got my into a state of shock) and as we drank our coffee, he told me that despite being away from my office location, he knew perfectly well what has been going on...
and then he said he knew about me buying dates for the staff and said that that was exactly what he was looking for. and he was certainly very pleased about it. his remark took me by surprise. buying dates for the staff was just something i thought was the right thing to do. but it turned out larger than that.
