took leave today to bring mum out. decided that i need to do this as i thought she had been kept at my brother's home for too long.
so, i picked her up at 7am and sent her for a hair cut and perm. it was something she had looked forward too. she has had her hair cut and permed by this old neighbour of ours. i learned from the domestic helper that mum was so excited she woke up at 3.30am thinking it was also 6am. well, i teased her about it. heh heh... and after her hair cut and perm, it was off to macdonalds for brunch before heading to jurong bird park. so it was a whole day of walking and walking and i am totally dead beat now!
but i am happy that mum had a great time. have not seen her laugh so much for a while already. told myself that in the weeks to come, when i start clearing my leave, i shall bring her out a couple more times. good to spent more time with her while i can and while she is still ok.
