received an sms from willie inviting me to his `thanks for being a friend' birthday party at play (one of singapore's leading gay bar). and much as i would love to, i told myself that it is perhaps better to give it a miss... still need to observe my commitments to my office not to visit any gay places. so for now, i do give him my best wishes of health and happiness (then again, i am sure i will not be missed... he has so many friends... heh heh...)
from what i know, since leaving the organisation, willie is a much happier person. and i am truly happy for him. staying in the organisation would have stifled him. he has the potential for much greater things. this coming year will be a challenging one for all of us, but for willie, i am ever so confident he will be able to ride through the rough times unscathed. way to go, willie!
for me, i shall abide my time. it, too, will come.
