it's late afternoon and i am already tired... went for my physio this morning, met a ceo for a networking lunch, collected my tailored working pants from a tailor, collected my working suit and pants from another tailor, and now i am home early to bring my dog for her evening pee before heading out for dinner with boon and family... pant pant pant...
and it's been an interesting day. well, hate to admit this, but somehow, it made me feel rather good with the almost consistent flow of smses, facebook wall, emails and even an e-birthday card wishing me happy birthday. started since last nite... bee bee, willie (yes, the willie), roger aka ah girl, bryan, & derek my buddies-at-arms, charles my ex-student, james my ex, ps the tiger, kok, lay pheng & justin aka germs my classmates, guan my good friend, collin, kenerf, weetz & colin, sha sha, stanley aka scern, aziz, amos aka philip, cookiben aka cookie monster, edwin, damien, schneider, francis aka ryan, thomas aka the train, kev aka pencilcase, mei yee, joe chin, gilbert & lawrence my colleagues, pratima & frederick my nie classmates, ice cream james, charmaine, ep aka zeph chukz, kl & dan aka wonder woman, wmc, dennis the slut, dorine my insurance agent, my cousin & his partner, my 2nd sister and so on. even on fridae - people whom i don't even know! thank you thank you all so much... your wishes made me feel so warm :-)
and the most significant of all was the call i got early this morning. it was from my mum. my phone was on silent and i only noted the flashing of the light... there was already 4 missed call and when i answered, she wished me happy birthday! so nice! such a nice way to wake up in the morning!
