mum had been asking for kfc pancakes since mid-last week and finally, last saturday i made my way down to the kfc outlet at the nearby mall. when i arrived, there was already a queue and as per all law-abiding citizen, i joined in the queue. not too long after that, a guy with 2 kids in hand arrived and queued behind me.
this guy looked rather rough and tough. he should be in his late 30s, face macam kenah langgar by a truck (and gostan and gohead a few times somemore) and packed a reasonable huge paunch too. hmm, so totally not much of a looker and definitely not my type too, i thought to myself (ya, i admit, i was damned mean right?). and as he queued, he decided that he should ask if his wife would like to join in. and he whipped out his smartphone, pressed a quick dial number, and then shouted out to his kid to talk to the wife. "come come, talk to mummy and ask her if she wants to come for breakfast too! if she wants, daddy will order her share..." he shouted out as the kids ran away and play in the kfc outlet. sometimes, i wonder why daddies have this tendencies to ask kids to talk to their mums. i mean, already pressed pressed number and call got through and still... haiyohhhh! can't take it right!?! and those kids hor. come into eatery don't know how to behave and run around and scream like a lost wild animal from africa transplanted into the middle of modern civilization. tsk tsk tsk! i tell you, it's probably easier to just tie them to the lamppost outside the shopping center! at least people can eat their breakfast peacefully. haiz... ok, ok... back to my post...
when he held out the phone, i saw the words "dear" displayed on the screen. wahhhh... so sweet right? such sweet reference fby a man who looked totally incapable of any tender loving touch. haha! ok, ok, i admit. i was (and still can be) mean and i am superficial (if i want to) here...
but... he is so sweeeeet right? sweeeter than manuka honey lor!

buying ice cream for wife is sweet. but not many buy it for their mum. ur sweetest leh. so, ahem tonite can sleep onot? xd
