found this video in aiden's site - a newly released lunar new year song. composed and performed by a singaporean singing group "the animal parade". and it is on the perennial theme of family lineage during lunar new years. well, admittedly, the first impression wasn't very good as i couldn't really catch what they were singing. but the song kinda build on you as you listen. also, make sure you keep the lyrics turned on so that you can catch the local hokkien lingo and words... ah soh, ah chek, ah sim, ah pek, etc etc etc... enjoy!
and purleese la, guys in drags should have their armpits shaved! interestingly, from the tone of the lyrics, i am sure it suggests a new generation that is more vocal against traditional demands of setting up family etc. also, does the guys in drags (which i believe are straight) also suggest a new younger generation that more accepting of glbts? perhaps, perhaps not. then again, just enjoy the song la!
:-)
