i was at marine parade this afternoon and saw a gay couple. well, it was very obvious it was a gay couple and clearly, they had just done some shopping for their home. one of them was carrying a broom and mop and some other stuff in a plastic bag.
i walked towards the kueh kueh store and they walked pass me. and interestingly, both went into the kueh kueh store too. since they went in before me, they made their order first. and aiyoh, i was so horrified to see how they placed the order. one went to the cashier to prepare to pay while the other (the one carrying the broom and mop) made the order. and guess what - he used the broom to point to the kueh he wanted. such terrible uncouth behavior!
this was so terribly rude! how could anyone possibly do this? his mother probably never teach him not to point with broomsticks or mops, even if they are new!
