today, we welcome the first grandson in the family. 8th grandchild, first boy, after a 24-year wait and 7 beautiful nieces! my dad would be very happy if he is still around! and needless to say, it was a welcoming high for the family, especially my mum. been a long long while since we have any major red event in the family... well, other than the recent 80th birthday celebrations for mum.
