every year, i would recieve a letter from the ava asking me to renew my dog license about a month before the license expire. and i would always pay the license fee promptly without fail. the license cos $14 annually. and last year was no different. but several months later, they sent me a reminder letter asking me to pay the license. the letter also imposed a $20 fine on me for my `failure to pay'. it was lucky that we were able to provide proof of payment and got them to retract the fine. nonetheless, it was not a good experience and reflected badly on the ava system.
and yesterday it happened again, i got a letter from the ava telling me my dog license renewal had been overdue and that if i do not do so by end of the month, they would fine me a couple of thousands of dollars. this letter took me by surprise for this year, i did not recieve any letter of notification for the license renewal. damned bloody irritating to get such a letter. as usual, the letter also imposed a $20 fine on me...
wtf right? to make it worst, the tone of the letter suggests that i have not done so deliberately. i certainly did not feel good reading such letters. and it felt extra frustrating when they did not sent any renewal notification to me in the first place! wtf! it seemed like a common thing for all government agencies to sound like this whenever they sent letters out to us asking us to pay this or that. damned sickening. wtf! damned it! so much for the pay and pay system.
guessed i have to call the customer service hotline and see if i can get them to remove this fine.
sighs.
