visited mum at the hospital these 2 days. she seemed ok although yesterday she was a little disoriented and forgetful. i believed it was due to the oxygen gas that she had been put on. today, she had been taken off the oxygen gas and i noted a little more coherence in her sentences. and yes, her face certainly looked very rosy.
have been told the hospital will be sending her for an ultrasound scan of her heart as well as her kidneys to assess if they are ok. apparently, they suspect either her heart or her kidneys or both are not functioning as well given that she frequently has swollen legs (oedema). but one thing is for sure, she is old and it is quite normal for old people to get such symptoms.
let's hope things turn out ok for her.
