found this from the ministry of manpower website. and i was shocked for a moment. it was unprecendented as far as i can recall to have almost all the public holidays fall on either a fri, sat or sun. it seemed like 2010 is gonna be a great bumper year for people to take super super long weekends by combining public holiday weekends and annual leaves either immediately before or after these public holidays!:-)
