went for a job interview today. arranged kinda last minute as a result of a recommendation from a friend of mine. a panel of 3 ladies, or rather, 2 ladies (one of which is a super duper high flyer) and a note-taker. the interview lasted some 40min. and the questions were rather straight forward. the usual questions about my past experiences, convincing the panel why i am the best person for the job and so on. and it was a very pleasant interview too. a lot of laughter and conducted in a very no-stress manner. but underneath the laughter was the very serious agenda of sensing each other. for them, sensing my worth and for me, sensing my potential boss. and i must say, i believed i have created a good impression. and i have also got a very good impression of my potential boss.
the only thing that is in the way now is my term of service with my current employer. if my application to leave early is not approved (and that i have to serve till the end of the year), then the job goes to for there is a very high urgency to get this post filled as the incumbent is due to leave end of this month.
